Lancaster Police Department Adds 2026 Harley-Davidson Police Road Glide to Motor Unit

Lancaster, CA. March 26, 2026 - The Lancaster Police Department has added a 2026 Harley-Davidson Police Road Glide to its motor unit, making Lancaster one of the first agencies in Los Angeles County to put the new model into service.

The addition strengthens the Department's traffic enforcement capabilities and reflects Lancaster Police Department's continued investment in tools that support visibility, mobility, and proactive public safety.

"Every addition to this Department is intentional," said Chief Rodrick Armalin. "This motorcycle strengthens our ability to be highly visible, responsive, and effective in the field. It is another example of Lancaster Police Department building a modern department, equipping our officers with the tools needed to serve the community well."

Motor officers play an important role in traffic enforcement, special events, directed patrols, and community engagement. Their ability to move efficiently through traffic and maintain a strong visible presence makes them a key part of the Department's public safety strategy.

The new 2026 Harley-Davidson Police Road Glide also reflects the Department's focus on building out a professional, modern motor unit as Lancaster continues to grow its police services.
