Response to Recent Ruling on Attorney General Matter

The Tulare County Superior Court recently ruled on the City's zoning ordinance update. We are awaiting the Court's formal order to clarify the ruling, and then the City Council can determine the City's next steps. As such, litigation is still pending. Tulare is committed to protecting the health and welfare of our residents and neighbors, while also respecting the rights of all private property owners, and advancing job creation that uplifts our entire community. We won't have additional comments until the City Council sets a direction informed by our legal counsel's advice.
