Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria Yu Dunhai Meets with Director General of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies of Nigeria, Professor Ayo Omotayo

On June 16, Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria Yu Dunhai met with Director General of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies of Nigeria, Professor Ayo Omotayo.

Ambassador Yu stated that the China-Nigeria Comprehensive Strategic Partnership is currently maintaining strong momentum, with fruitful outcomes in various areas of cooperation. He expressed China's readiness to deepen practical cooperation with Nigeria and welcomed Nigeria to make full use of China's zero-tariff treatment for African countries, so as to boost the export of more high-quality Nigerian products to China and share the opportunities presented by China's vast market.

Director General Omotayo spoke highly of the progress of Nigeria-China relations, stating that Nigeria is looking forward to strengthening cooperation with China in agriculture, trade, investment, and science, technology and innovation, as well as to deepening exchanges between think-tanks and sub-national cooperation, so as to jointly promote the China-Nigeria Comprehensive Strategic Partnership to a new height.
