Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today delivered a video message at the Opening Ceremony of the ASEAN Pavilion during the 30th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC COP30), held in Belém, Brazil. In his address, SG Dr. Kao reaffirmed ASEAN's commitment to multilateral climate action and highlighted the Pavilion as a platform to showcase regional leadership in various cross-cutting climate issues including just energy transition, climate finance, and nature-based solutions.
