Colombia: Colombia Transfers High-Risk Food Facility Registration from ICA to Invima's New InvimAgil Platform

Effective August 1, 2026, foreign facilities exporting high-risk foods (dairy, meat and meat products, seafood, and egg products) to Colombia must register on InvimAgil, Invima's new electronic platform, replacing the previous Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA) registration requirement. U.S. facilities will no longer need to register with ICA after July 31, 2026. While shipments won't be held solely for lack of InvimAgil registration if other requirements are met, exporters are strongly encouraged to register promptly, as Invima may require proof upon arrival.
