Manufacturing Week Celebrates Fairfield’s Manufacturing Community October 19-23

The City of Fairfield is celebratingManufacturing Week, October 19-23, recognizing the manufacturers, businesses, workers, educators, and community partners who contribute to Fairfield's strong and diverse economy.

Manufacturing plays an important role in Fairfield by creating jobs, supporting local businesses, and producing the goods and services communities rely on every day.

As the industry continues to evolve, Fairfield manufacturers are embracing innovation, new technologies, and new approaches that strengthen businesses and create opportunities for today's and tomorrow's workforce.

Throughout Manufacturing Week, the City will highlight Fairfield's manufacturing community and showcase the people and businesses driving innovation, economic growth, and workforce development.

"Manufacturing is an important part of Fairfield's identity, economy, and future," said Dave Zellers, Director of Community and Economic Development. "Manufacturing Week gives us an opportunity to recognize the employees and companies who help make Fairfield a special place to work and do business while highlighting the innovation and ingenuity driving the industry forward and inspiring the next generation to explore careers in this dynamic, evolving sector."
