A Portion of Hollow Road to be Closed Daily Beginning August 25
FREDERICK, Md. - The Frederick County Department of Highway Operations will close Hollow Road between U.S.40A and Layla Drive daily beginning on or about August 25, 2025, for approximately one week, weather permitting. This closure will be a day closure between 6:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A signed detour will be in place. The Middletown Post Office will be accessible from U.S.40A.
The closure will allow the Department of Highway Operations to replace a failing culvert pipe at 7227 Hollow Road. For additional information contact Joe Sollenberger at 301-600-1573.
