Student Artists: Submit Your Work for Upcoming ‘Arts Everywhere’ Exhibition

The Arts Everywhere: Showcasing Transformation from Chemistry to Art exhibition, part of the College of Arts and Sciences Arts Everywhere Initiative, invites student artists to reflect on chemistry, not just as a science, but as a metaphor for change, connection, and material transformation.

All students, regardless of major, are invited to submit works for consideration for this launch exhibition.

This exhibition, to be showcased in the Chemistry Building, asks:

  • What happens when we think of art as a kind of experiment?
  • How do materials react, transform, or interact?
  • What meanings emerge from those reactions?

Selected artists will receive a stipend of $100.

Deadline to submit: Sunday, November 2 via this form
Artwork due: Thursday, November 13

Selected artists will be contacted with artwork drop-off information. Works will be presented in the Chemistry Building from November 18 through the Spring 2026 semester. A showcase reception will be held on Tuesday, November 18, from 4 pm to 6:30 pm in the Chemistry Building lobby.

This exhibition is curated by art history majors Rebecca Zhang '27 and Ynuel Spencer '27.
