Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Keane announces that Lamarrio A. Clark, 28, of Buffalo, was sentenced yesterday afternoon before Erie County Court Judge Susan Eagan. He received a determinate sentence of 25 years in prison followed by 5 years of post-release supervision, the maximum for his conviction.
On Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at approximately 5:00 p.m., the defendant shot the victim with an illegal handgun on the first block of Warring Avenue near Genesee Street in the City of Buffalo. The victim, 28-year-old Corbin J. Kinsey, Sr., was taken by ambulance to ECMC where he later died.
Clark pleaded guilty to one count of Manslaughter in the First Degree (Class B violent felony) on August 20, 2025. The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge in full satisfaction of the indictment.

The case was prosecuted by Chief Cathleen M. Roemer of the Felony Trials Bureau, Assistant District Attorney Nicholas Marino of the Raise the Age/Motor Vehicle Theft Insurance Fraud Unit and Assistant District Attorney John P. Gerken, Jr. of the Homicide Bureau.
