On Monday, September 15, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Doris Strunk was located and transported to an area hospital for evaluation.

PPB Needs Public's Help Locating Missing Endangered Woman

On Friday, August 22, 2025, at approximately 5:20 a.m., officers spoke with an employee at a local residential facility who reported that a 63-year-old female resident was missing. The employee at the facility near Northeast 114th Avenue and Northeast Glisan Street reported that Doris Strunk was last seen on the evening of August 21, 2025, when she was in the facility with a machete. Staff confiscated the machete and Strunk left the premises. She has not been seen since.

Detectives are concerned for Strunk's well-being because she is suffering from numerous illnesses and she has been without her medication for a week.

Strunk is described as a Caucasian female, approximately 5'3", and 100 lbs. She has brown eyes and long grey hair. Strunk was last seen wearing a black windbreaker with pink trim.

Strunk is known to stay local and frequent the area of Northeast Halsey Street and NE 122nd Ave and Northeast Halsey and Northeast 114th Ave.

Anyone who spots Strunk is asked to call 911. Anyone with non-time-sensitive information is urged to contact [email protected] and reference case number 25-228136.
