Launched in 1952, the Beaux Arts Festival of Artoffers families and art enthusiasts the opportunity to connect with the community and enjoy refreshments, live music, interactive art experiences, and a marketplace featuring local vendors. The free community event is Miami's longest-running juried art festival and attracts more than 200 acclaimed fine art exhibitors from across the country, presenting artwork in a variety of media and price ranges. Attend the two-day outdoor festival hosted from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Stanford Drive on the Coral Gables Campus.
Proceeds from the festival benefit the University of Miami's Lowe Art Museumand Beaux Arts' educational programs. For seven decades, Beaux Artshas introduced children from underserved communities to the world of art. A volunteer organization, the group works to encourage an understanding and appreciation of the arts in South Florida, providing outreach programs where children have opportunities to learn about art and participate in the artistic process.
Beaux Arts provides support to the Lowe Art Museumby assisting with art acquisitions, contributing to the museum's ongoing operations, and enhancing its educational programming and outreach.
