Director-General of European Affairs Department meets with Ambassador-designate of the Slovak Republic to Thailand
On 2 October 2025, Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, had a discussion with H.E. Mr. Alexander Micovčin, Ambassador-designate of the Slovak Republic to the Kingdom of Thailand, on the occasion of his assumption of duty.
Both sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Thailand and the Slovak Republic in various fields, including trade and investment, defence, Thai - EU relations and Thailand's accession into the OECD.
The Director-General reaffirmed Thailand's readiness to host the 3rd Thai - Slovak Political Consultations to elevate bilateral relations and to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
