TWIN FALLS - The Idaho Transportation Department will begin nighttime closures Monday to pave the five-point intersection of Kimberly Road, Blue Lakes Boulevard and Second Avenue.
The closures will take place overnight from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and are expected to last about one week.
During the day, the intersection will be open with a single lane each direction.
Flaggers will direct traffic through the intersection overnight while work is underway. Drivers should expect delays, slow down and follow directions, or consider using an alternate route if possible.
Wide vehicles are also encouraged to avoid the area during construction.
Doing work at night and shutting down the intersection will allow crews to pave quickly with less impact to businesses in the area.
