Can you say Semiquincentennial, Sestercentennial, Bisesquicentennial? It might just be easier to say Quarter-millennium. Or Happy 250th Birthday to the United States of America!

50 years ago, we were celebrating the 200th anniversary, or Bicentennial. Almost everything in Utah had a "Bicentennial" theme to it. From stage plays to sewing patterns, 1976 was a colorful year.
