Roseanne Cash Recovering From 'Unexpected Medical Emergency,' Postpones Performances

Roseanne Cash is recovering from an "unexpected medical emergency," according to a statement from her team.

Cash, 71, had to push back a few of her upcoming performance dates because of the emergency. Her team posted a statement on Instagram over the weekend: "Rosanne Cash must postpone her performances due to an unexpected medical emergency. She is recovering under her doctors' supervision, who have recommended a temporary restriction on travel and performing. This restriction is impacting her upcoming Wyoming and Montana shows. Roseanne deeply regrets the cancellation and looks forward to rescheduling appearances."

Those performances were originally set for Tuesday (September 8) in Sheridan, Wyoming; Wednesday (September 9) in Billings, Montana; and Saturday (September 12) in Bozeman, Montana. The new dates have not been announced at this time. Cash's next show is set for September 19 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, according to the list of performance dates on the second slide of the Instagram post. Cash did not share additional information as of publication time on Tuesday.

Cash is the eldest daughter of late legend Johnny Cash, who died in September 2003. He was 71.
