Motor vehicle collision involving pedestrian: C26-81492

On April 9, 2026, just before 5:00 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to Country Club Road and Portage Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

A 69-year-old womanwas transported to hospital in critical condition and later upgraded to stable condition.

The driver of the motor vehicle remained on scene and was cooperative with the investigation. The Traffic Division continues to investigate.

Anyone with information, or who may have dashcam, security, or cell phone video from around the time of the incident, is asked to contact the Traffic Unit at 204-986-7085 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers 204-786-TIPS or winnipegcrimestoppers.org.
