Auto-Battle Comes to Diablo Immortal

This new gameplay feature can now be accessed within the "Blessing of Legends" (Blessing UI on the left side of the screen.) Enabling Auto-Battle allows your character to be automatically controlled at your current location, causing you to roam around the nearby area and fight enemies automatically.

The overall combat functionality of this feature is deliberately less efficient than a player actively farming themselves and intended to provide more casual players with access to some additional farming methods to help continue progress. Some builds might be significantly less efficient than playing the class yourself, so determining what build you want to use with Auto-Battle can have an impact on your efficiency as well.

While this feature is aimed at helping more casual players, everyone can find some use for this system. There are some additional settings, such as Enabling Auto Health Potion usage as well as a Life Threshold to trigger when the Health Potion is used, available in the Settings menu under the Controller section.

Auto-Battle can be enabled for up to 1 hour at a time and at most you have 24 total hours of time available per week, but keep in mind your character will not automatically salvage your equipment when your bags are full.

  • Auto-Battle can be enabled inside the same popup as Blessing of Legends.
  • Auto-Battle unlocks at level 60.

Open Captain Selection

To improve team balance and give players more control over team composition, Captain Selection is now available in Battleground.

How It Works

When all matched players are Legend rank or above, there is a chance to trigger a Legendary Duel.

In this phase, the two highest-rated players become captains.

Captains take turns selecting their teammates in a draft format.

Draft Rules

  1. Each captain selects 3 teammates.
  2. The draft follows a structured pick order.
  3. Each selection has a 15-second time limit.
  4. If a captain does not make a selection in time, the system will assign a player automatically.
  5. The remaining players will be assigned by the system.

Additional Notes

During Legendary Duel, player stats are not compressed, and all players gain additional damage reduction.

Players who leave during the selection phase will be treated as refusing the match and may receive penalties.

This feature is available in Battleground Classic mode (Assault).

Enhancing the Competitiveness: Rite of Exile

The latest update to Diablo Immortal focuses on strengthening the competitive integrity of the Cycle of Strife.

We are challenging the Immortals more by creating a hidden matching system in the Rite of Exile, Immortal leaders can uncover the hidden matches through scouting points that are earned from their weekly duties.

Scouting is guaranteed to uncover the Shadow clans who are in those match orders, but scout points are earned through weekly duties and participation from the Immortals.

To increase tension and competitiveness, the number of Rite of Exile victories required in Week 7 is reduced from 4 to 3. These changes should open the door for more teams to prove they can become Immortal.
