U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Michigan State Director Dom Restuccia today announced $317,103 in home repair grants for rural Michigan residents in Crawford, Chippewa, and Lapeer counties.
"Today's announcement is a great example of how USDA is working with all levels of government - state, county, municipal and tribal - to help rural residents make needed repairs to their homes," said Restuccia. "Under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump and Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, USDA Rural Development is committed to restoring rural Michigan."
Crawford County, the Bay Mills Indian Community in Chippewa, and the City of Lapeer are each receiving a $105,701 grant.
The investments are being made through Rural Development's Housing Preservation Grant program.
