Ljubljana Airport Welcomes New London Route

Zgornji Brnik, 26. october 2026 - EasyJet today launched regular flights between Ljubljana Airport and London Luton Airport. The inaugural flight was marked at Ljubljana Airport with a welcome reception for the crew and first passengers, who were greeted with a sweet surprise.

The new service, operating up to four times weekly, further expands the range of destinations available from Ljubljana Airport and strengthens Slovenia's air connectivity with the United Kingdom. Flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, serving both business and leisure travellers and providing convenient access to the British capital and the wider South East England region. Tickets are available via the easyJet website and mobile app.

The launch represents another step in easyJet's expansion in Slovenia and contributes to the continued development of Ljubljana Airport's route network. London Luton becomes the fourth destination served by easyJet from Ljubljana. The airline already operates flights to London Gatwick and Manchester, as well as seasonal services to Edinburgh.

New Berlin Route Coming Next Spring

easyJet will further strengthen its presence at Ljubljana Airport in the summer 2027 season with the launch of a new scheduled service between Ljubljana and Berlin Brandenburg Airport. The inaugural flight is planned for 7 April 2027.

The new route will operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Sundays, using Airbus A320 aircraft.

The service will restore direct air links between the Slovenian and German capitals after a seven-year hiatus. easyJet previously connected Ljubljana and Berlin between 2018 and the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, operating three weekly flights to Berlin Tegel Airport.

Following the introduction of flights to Manchester in late 2025, Edinburgh in spring 2026, and today's launch of London Luton services, Berlin will become easyJet's fifth destination from Ljubljana in April 2027. Together with the existing service to London Gatwick, easyJet will offer passengers an increasingly diverse network of direct connections to major European cities.
