Tampa General Hospital Hernando Agreed to Pay $51,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Services Provided by an Unlicensed Individual

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Tampa General Hospital Hernando, LLC (TGHH), Brooksville, Florida, entered into a $51,655.50 settlement agreement with OIG. The settlement agreement resolves allegations that TGHH submitted claims to Federal health care programs for services furnished by an unlicensed dietician. Single damages were calculated as the full salary and benefits paid to the dietitian during the period they worked without a valid license.
