INTERNATIONAL FALLS, Minn. - The National Park Service (NPS) is accepting proposals for a concession opportunity at Kettle Falls in Voyageurs National Park. The selected concessioner will provide a range of visitor services, including lodging, retail, food and beverage operations, guest transportation, marina services, and mechanical boat portage.
The opportunity is detailed in a newly released prospectus, which outlines the business opportunity and provides instructions on submitting a proposal, as well as the terms and conditions of the contract. Services under the new contract are expected to begin on January 1, 2027, with a contract term of 10 years. Interested parties may access the prospectus and proposal instructions on the National Park Service website at the Voyageurs National Park Concessions (Lodging, Food & Beverage, Retail, Marina Services, and Boat Portage) page.
To submit a proposal, interested parties, including existing concessioners, must notify their intent to apply by contacting Tracy Simmons, Commercial Services Program Manager, at [email protected] no later than 4 p.m. (CDT) on September 16, 2026. Completed proposals must be submitted by no later than 4 p.m. (CDT) on October 15, 2026.
