So the name on our door is trauma foot and ankle, but we also see, a wide range of problems. Anything from broken bones, ruptured tendons, like Achilles tendons, for example, up through, arthritis, bunions, hammer toes, and those types of things.
We often meet, people who have had an abrupt turn in their life because of an injury or, arthritis that came to a point where they, couldn't continue to do what they want and they need to do. And many times, we can get involved and, we can eliminate that problem and get people, back on their feet, and back into life, enjoying more activities.
People are often surprised to learn of some of the solutions we have for their problems. I think ankle replacement is a good example of that. it's still relatively uncommon, even in the world of orthopedics. So, people are often, very excited and relieved to know that there's a solution to that problem.
One advantage of being in the Bronson system is that, when I see a patient, their primary care provider has easy access to my notes and who knows what I was thinking, and vice versa. And we can easily review labs and X-rays and having that all under one umbrella, is very convenient for the patient, and really helps us coordinate care in an efficient, safe, and productive way.
It's allowed me to practice medicine at what I think is a very high, level and, allows, me and us to provide, the best care for our patients.
