Showing its continued commitment to community health and safety, Agtegra Cooperative has donated to 70 rural and volunteer fire departments across North Dakota and South Dakota this year.
Agtegra CEO Jason Klootwyk noted that supporting rural families is central to the cooperative's mission. He said, "Local volunteer fire departments play a key role in protecting their communities, and we're proud to help ensure their readiness and resilience."
Many Agtegra locations are in remote communities where volunteer fire departments are often the primary emergency responders for member-owners, employees, and their families.
Klootwyk emphasized gratitude for these departments and their essential role in rural safety.
A matching grant from the Land O'Lakes Foundation doubled Agtegra's total support, allowing each fire department to receive funds for essential training and equipment.
