Oct. 27, 2025 - The City of St. Petersburg invites residents, business owners, and community partners to attend the upcoming Deuces Corridor Community Update, an event dedicated to sharing the latest developments for the City's Imagine the Deuces vision. The event will take place at the Enoch Davis Center, 1111 18th Ave S, on October 30, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Imagine the Deuces is the City of St. Petersburg's vision for fostering private business growth and community prosperity in the 22nd Street South corridor by investing in a welcoming gateway, affordable housing, new parks and a robust infusion of resources.

The city will share updates for:

  • Deuces Rising Townhomes: A 24-unit townhome development as part of the Sankofa development on 22nd St. S between 6th Ave. and 7th Ave. S

  • Voices from the Corridor: A community engagement initiative that brought together residents, business owners, and stakeholders through a series of workshops to shape the future of the corridor

  • Merriwether Project: A mixed-use retail and residential project located at 951 22nd St. S

  • The Historic Manhattan Casino: A 12,000 sq. ft., two-story events facility
