Northbound I-5 Connectors to I-8 Evening Closure May 10

SAN DIEGO - - Caltrans will close the northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) to westbound and eastbound Interstate 8 (I-8) connectors, Sunday, May 10, 11:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. for striping operations.

Motorists may continue on northbound I-5, exit at Sea World Drive, turn left to the southbound I-5 on-ramp, continue to the southbound I-5 to connect to eastbound I-8. Or motorists may continue on Sea World Drive, then follow Sunset Cliffs Boulevard to the eastbound I-8.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
