Spread the Warmth: Library hosting blanket drive for Tyler Animal Services

The Tyler Public Library and Tyler Animal Control are teaming up from Monday, Nov. 10, through Friday, Dec. 5, to collect as many blankets as possible to make sure our furry friends at the shelter stay warm as the weather gets cooler. We're calling on all animal lovers and community members to donate new or gently used fleece blankets, ideally sized 50x50 inches or 60x60 inches, to fit the kennels for animals of all sizes.

Blanket donations can be dropped off at the Library in front of the circulation desk. Staff will collect donations and deliver them to the shelter.
