Students are invited to display their artistic skills and create posters celebrating Arbor Day and the importance of trees in our community. The poster contest is open to all La Mirada students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Entries must be submitted in-person to the Activity Center, located at 13810 La Mirada Boulevard or digitally to [email protected] by Monday, March 16.
First place winners from each grade level will be recognized at a City Council meeting. The original artwork must reflect the "Love a Tree" theme and may be constructed on paper that allows for duplication between 8.5" x 11" to 12" x 18" in size, digitally, or with recycled material. The artist's first and last name, school, grade level, and parent contact information must be written on the back of the poster.
