In 2026, comTeam continues to place a strong emphasis on identifying trends at an early stage, making targeted use of opportunities and actively shaping the future. The comTeam "Impulstag", held on 22 January, demonstrated just how crucial it is for IT systems integrators and service providers to recognise technological developments and new legal frameworks in good time and to leverage them strategically. In a phase of rapid change, one thing is clear: success belongs to those who do not merely react, but think ahead.
With up to 140 participants, the online event once again attracted a high level of attendance, underlining its importance as a central orientation platform for comTeam partners at the start of the year. The programme featured keynotes, expert presentations and practical impulses designed to expand knowledge, strengthen capabilities and support the development of sustainable future strategies. Key topics included artificial intelligence, IT security, processes and scalability, digital sovereignty and sustainability, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
The keynote programme began with Simon Berger of Covestio, who addressed the topics of processes and scalability, demonstrating how IT systems integrators can be managed efficiently through clearly structured workflows that support sustainable growth. He was followed by Henry Brose from neuland.ai, who highlighted the potential of artificial intelligence - from assistance systems to autonomous agents - and its GDPR-compliant use. Steffen Schmidt of ESET then provided insights into the current IT security landscape, explaining how threat scenarios are evolving and why strong partner networks and trusting cooperation are decisive in countering them.
Building on this, Axel Gillert spoke about digital sovereignty and the opportunities presented by open-source solutions, data centres, cloud services and alternative software offerings for Germany and the European Union. Kristian Harling and Thomas Nielsen from Teqcycle illustrated how sustainability can combine ecological responsibility with economic benefits, unlocking growth potential of up to ten per cent for companies. Thomas Ströbele of yourIT subsequently explained how organisations can address NIS2 and ISO 27001 requirements at an early stage, enabling them to meet regulatory challenges with confidence. The series of presentations concluded with Thomas Kwasnitza from ADN, who provided a concise overview of the latest developments in Microsoft 365 and their practical implications for day-to-day business.
comTeam also presented its own strategic agenda for 2026, with a clear focus on AI services, the in-house MSP Manager, the comTeach4you training platform and the security network kiwiko, which joined comTeam in 2025. Partner Manager Jörn Beckmann demonstrated how the MSP Manager automates billing, transparently documents services, saves time and reduces errors, delivering tangible added value for systems integrators in their daily operations. Kai Jürgens, Project Manager at the Digital Agency and AI Officer, introduced the AI telephone assistant smao, which handles incoming calls, automatically creates tickets, integrates seamlessly into existing systems and operates in full compliance with GDPR requirements. Clemens Grah, Junior Sales Manager Solutions, presented the comTeach Campus and the white-label solution comTeach4you, enabling partners to operate their own learning platforms, access more than 400 training courses and strengthen customer loyalty and reach. Sandra Balz, Head of kiwiko, also took part in the "Impulstag" and highlighted the benefits of closer cooperation with comTeam: "The combination of security expertise and technological know-how strengthens our market presence and provides both networks with a solid foundation for a successful future."
The event concluded with Stefan Auer, Managing Director of ascon, who offered a review of current developments and an outlook for the industry, placing recent trends in context and outlining perspectives for the coming twelve months.
The comTeam "Impulstag" 2026 once again underlined its ambition to address highly relevant topics, provide fresh impulses, stimulate dialogue and strategically prepare IT companies for an increasingly complex future.
