Attorney General Ford Announces Filing of Biennial Report

Carson City, NV - Today, Attorney General Aaron D. Ford announced that the Office of Attorney General has sent its biennial report to the Legislature and the office of Gov. Joe Lombardo. The report, over 50 pages in length, outlines the progress and accomplishments of the Office of the Attorney General over the last two years.

"My time as attorney general has been the most rewarding time of my life, and working with the dedicated public servants in this office has left me consistently impressed with the work they do for our great state," said Attorney General Ford. "These last two years, my staff and I have worked diligently to protect Nevadans and to hold those accountable who have done our state and its residents harm. I want to thank my staff for the work they have done and will do to ensure Nevada is protected."

A few of the office's accomplishments highlighted in the biennial report include:

• A first-of-its-kind settlement with Roblox, a popular social media gaming platform, which imposed significant changes to the platform to ensure greater safety for Nevada's children.
• Several lawsuits co-led by Attorney General Ford against President's unlawful elections executive orders which successfully protected Nevada's elections by asserting the Constitution provides no Presidential authority over their operation.
• Successfully stopping unlicensed prediction markets from offering sports betting in Nevada, making the Silver State the first to stop their operations.
• An 88% success rate by the office's Post-Conviction Division in the U.S. District Court and the Ninth Circuit, as well as an approximately 95% success rate in the Nevada Supreme Court.
• Over 72,000 constituent service requests processed.
• Approximately $20.6 million in ordered restitution amounts in criminal and civil cases was obtained by the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU). In Fiscal Year 2025, the MFCU was more than double the national average for fraud prosecutions, despite having less than half the national average of staff.
• Litigation of unfair trade practices against several generic drug manufacturers who have been alleged to conspire to set pharmaceutical prices, which resulted in significant cooperation, agreements and settlements.

The biennial report reflects the Office of the Attorney General's continued commitment to protecting Nevadans, defending the state's interests and ensuring justice and accountability on behalf of the people of Nevada. As the office builds on the progress of the past two years, Attorney General Ford and his staff remain focused on serving Nevada's communities and carrying out the office's responsibilities with integrity, diligence and a commitment to public service.
