At Intel Tech Tour - the first to be held in the United States - over 200 global technology media, analysts and customers learned intricate details into what makes Panther Lake tick.

In a memorable demo that attendees beelined towards, Intel demo expert Craig Raymond beckoned press towards a gleaming disc mounted on a pedestal.

There, attendees whipped out cameras and phones to capture a glimpse of a Panther Lake wafer - the company's first product built on Intel 18A - shown for the first time at this event.

Cue gasps from the crowd, followed by a frenzy of camera flashes.

"You will see Panther Lake everywhere…PCs for businesses of all sizes, thin and light laptops that are also great for gaming, and vertical edge solutions," said Jim Johnson, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Client Computing Group.

"This will be the most broadly adopted and globally available AI PC platform we have ever delivered."

Panther Lake will be available in the market starting January 2026.
