The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning for inland Orange County areas, including Santa Ana, from 10 a.m. Friday, July 31 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2.
Conditions are expected to be dangerously hot, with high temperatures in the mid to upper 90s east of the 5 freeway.
Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events. Please remember to drink lots of water, limit activity outside, and visit our community centers, senior centers, pools or libraries if you need to cool down.
