Visit by Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim to Cairo, Egypt 14 to 15 September 2026
Minister of State (MOS) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim will make a working visit to Cairo, Egypt from 14 to 15 September 2026.
This will be MOS Zhulkarnain's introductory visit to Egypt. The visit reaffirms the longstanding and friendly ties between Singapore and Egypt as both countries commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year.
During his visit, MOS Zhulkarnain will meet Egyptian ministers and senior officials to explore new opportunities for bilateral cooperation, including in the economic, connectivity and humanitarian fields, as well as discuss regional developments.
MOS Zhulkarnain will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
