Available Food Assistance Resources

Residents who receive CalFresh benefits may experience a delay beginning November 1. This temporary disruption impacts residents across Ventura County, including families and older adults in Simi Valley who rely on CalFresh to help put food on the table. During this time, several local and countywide resources are available to help individuals and families access healthy food and community support.

The Ventura County Human Services Agency (HSA) is working closely with state partners to keep residents informed. If you or someone you know receives CalFresh, you can continue using any remaining EBT benefits, but no new funds will be added until federal funding resumes.

For updates, food resources, or assistance during this delay, please contact the following resources:

  • Visit or contact HSA at: HSA.VenturaCounty.gov
  • Call 2-1-1 for local support and referrals
