Construction Advisory: PG&E Underground Utility Work on Union Landing Boulevard

UNION CITY, CA, October 28, 2025 - PG&E is scheduled to conduct underground utility work at the Union Landing Transit Center driveway (32080 Union Landing Boulevard) on Thursday, October 30 and Friday, October 31, between 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. During this time, Union Landing Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in the work area. Vehicles will continue to have access to Union Landing from both directions along Alvarado-Niles Road. Please note that the Transit Center will be closed during this time from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.

TRUCK DETOUR

  • Buses and large semi-trucks will NOT be allowed to turn onto Union Landing Boulevard while work is in progress between 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.
  • Trucks can enter Union Landing Shopping Center from Courthouse Drive.

UNION CITY TRANSIT & AC TRANSIT

  • Buses traveling westbound on Union City Transit Routes 1, 4, 5, and 8 will temporarily use the designated area in front of iFLY Indoor Skydiving for passenger drop-off and pick-up.
  • Eastbound passenger pick-up for Union City Transit Routes 1, 3, 5, and 8 will be temporarily located at the bus stop in front of Shell Gas Station.
  • AC Transit will direct customers to temporary stops.
