New Resource: Implementing Effective Compliance Programs Guide
A major feature of this year's celebration was the release of the Implementing Effective Compliance Programsguide. This best-practice resource is an optional tool designed to help employees better understand and apply the elements of a strong compliance program. It's not mandated, but offered to support departments in aligning with best practices and improving internal processes.

C L E A R Ethical Decision-Making Framework
UA introduced the CLEAR Framework to help employees pause, reflect, and make thoughtful choices when facing uncertainty. This tool encourages ethical awareness in everyday work and is available on the UA Institutional Compliance Program site as an infographic download.

Leader Engagement: Ethics Moments
On Wednesday, supervisors received a message encouraging them to incorporate short "ethics moments" into regular staff meetings. These brief discussions-based on practical questions or scenarios-are meant to spark reflection and reinforce UA's values.
-
Third Party Compliance Risk Training
UA employees were invited this week to a virtual training on third-party compliance risk with 44 registered. The session covered key risks and responsibilities in working with vendors, contractors, and service providers. Whether coordinating services, approving purchases, or engaging external partners, attendees gained practical insights into how these relationships connect to their roles and UA's commitment to ethical, compliant practices.
