Annual purse bingo to support Hazleton THON

HAZLETON, Pa. - Penn State Hazleton Benefiting THON will host its annual designer purse bingo on Sunday, Oct. 12. Doors open at noon, and games will begin at 1 p.m. in the Dr. Thomas M. Caccese Gymnasium. The event is open to the public.

In addition to purses, bingo prizes include cash and gift cards. Participants can also purchase tickets to win raffle baskets and 50/50 drawings during the event.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Tickets can be purchased from any THON member or in the Student Services and Engagement Office, 105 Charles T. All proceeds from the day will support Penn State Hazleton Benefiting THON's fundraising efforts. THON is the largest student-led philanthropy effort worldwide, and the Hazleton group holds events and raises funds throughout the year to support children at Penn State Health Children's Hospital who are battling cancer, as well as their families.
