Phone Conversation between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Latvia

On June 10, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan held a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Baiba Braže.

Baiba Braže congratulated Minister Mirzoyan on the victory of the Civil Contract party in the parliamentary elections, reaffirming strong readiness for the consistent development of partnership between Armenia and Latvia.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to Armenia-Latvia bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the importance of undertaken concrete steps aimed at expanding trade. In this context, Minister Mirzoyan expressed gratitude for the support provided in facilitating the export of several shipments of flowers from Armenia to Latvia, noting that this would serve as a unique impetus for strengthening further ties between the business communities of the two countries and for developing new avenues of trade.

The ministers also touched upon the Armenia-EU partnership agenda and upcoming contacts.
