LEE'S SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from April 27 through May 1. All work is weather permitting.
JACKSON COUTNY
Route V (Noland Rd.) between Oflaherty Rd. & Murkins Rd.: flagging operations from Monday, April 27 until Wednesday, April 29, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for drainage repair.
U.S. Route 40 westbound between Highland Dr. and Kendall Dr.: right lane closed on Wednesday, April 29 and Thursday, April 30, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, for drainage work.
JOHNSON COUNTY
Route V between NE 251 Rd. and NE 500 Rd.: full closure on Wednesday, April 29 or Thursday, April 30, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for culvert replacement work.
LAFAYETTE COUNTY
Route W between 3rd St. and 4th St.: flagging operations on Tuesday, April 28, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for drainage work.
Missouri Route 213 between Page City Rd. and Front St.: road closed on Wednesday, April 29, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for culvert replacement work.
PETTIS COUNTY
Route N between Route N and Route O: full closure on Monday, April 27, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for culvert replacement work.
Route NN between Missouri Route 127 and Johnson County line: flagging operations on Wednesday, April 29 and Thursday, April 30 from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement work.
PLATTE COUNTY
Route HH between Interstate 29 and end of state maintenance: flagging operations from Monday, April 27 until Friday, May 1, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement resurfacing.
RAY COUNTY
Missouri Business Route 10 between Missouri Route 13 and Missouri Route 10 to the west of Richmond: flagging operations on Monday, April 27, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for drainage work.
SALINE COUNTY
Missouri Route 41 between Missouri Route 240 and Route F: flagging operations from Monday, April 27 until Thursday, April 30, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement work.
MoDOT maintenance crews often perform other tasks throughout the work week such as pothole patching, litter pick-up, sign repairs, brush cutting, and other operations that are not included above as they pose limited impacts to traffic.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
