EU-UN dialogue on Business and Human Rights
On 22 May, FRA took part in the annual EU-UN dialogue on Business and Human Rights. The European External Action Service hosted the event in Brussels.
The discussions focused on alignment, policy coherence, legal certainty and implementation of the EU's Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive. This included transposition, interpretation, supervisory authority action and the forthcoming EU Commission guidelines.
Meetings were also held with the Legal Service of the European Council and the Legal Service of the European Commission.
