Congratulations to the AFRC selection for the Airlift/Tanker Association (A/TA) Lt General James E. Sherrard III Award.
The AFRC selection for 2025 is the 439th Airlift Wing, Westover Air Reserve Base, Massachusetts.
The men and women of the 439th personify "Citizen Airmen" as they successfully tackle the challenges of the wartime mobility for Air and Space Force Association's in conjunction with their Defense in Support of Civil Authorities mission.
The 439th AW clearly embodies the spirit and essence of today's global mobility operations, maintaining a viable strategic reserve for tomorrow while simultaneously embracing responsibilities to their civilian employers, community, and their families.
