Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski at Gymnich informal meeting of top EU diplomats in Ireland

Minister Radosław Sikorski expressed solidarity with Ukraine, as well as with Germany in relation to the recent acts of sabotage affecting the country.

Poland's top diplomat condemned the Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure, inflicting civilian casualties.

"All these attacks on cities, on civilian infrastructure, are war crimes," said Minister Sikorski.

According to the Polish foreign minister, recent attacks on Germany are blatant acts of state terrorism. Minister Radosław Sikorski declared that Poland would do what it takes to sustain, along with other allies, every ally who gets attacked.

"Poland lives by the 'one for all, all for one' rule. We need to prove that we will not be intimidated. We do not seek conflict with Russia, but Russia seems to be at hybrid war with us," said Deputy Prime Minister Sikorski.

The discussion on Russia's aggression against Ukraine featured the foreign ministers of Ukraine, Canada, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, who attended the Gymnich upon the invitation of the Irish Presidency and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Minister Radosław Sikorski met with the foreign ministers of Switzerland (Ignazio Cassis), Canada (Anita Anand), the United Kingdom (Ed Miliband), and Ukraine (Andrii Sybiha).
