Seeking youth volunteers: Help Train Alaska’s Future School Psychologists

The UAA School Psychology program is seeking school-age children and youth willing to participate in practice testing sessions with graduate students in the Master of Science in School Psychology Program.

To participate, the child/youth must:

  • Be age 5 through age 18
  • Not currently being evaluated for learning and behavior problems
  • Able to come to the Anchorage campus for one to four testing sessions (each session will be 2-3 hours long)
  • Have parent permission to participate
  • Be willing to participate

These assessments are for training purposes and the results cannot be shared with the child/youth or family.

Date: June 2026
Time: 9 am - noon or 1 - 4 pm on selected dates
Event location - 3190 Alumni Dr, Anchorage, AK 99508, UAA Psychological Services Center (PSC). The PSC is located on the second floor of the Social Sciences Building (Suite 255) at the UAA Anchorage campus.

Note: Parents do not need to remain on campus during the practice session.
