Official Trailer for Anime Adaptation of ‘Thunder 3’ Unveiled Ahead of July 9 Premiere

The eagerly anticipated anime series Thunder 3 is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix worldwide on July 8 PST / July 9 JST. A brand-new official trailer has also dropped, giving fans a first look at the emotional journey ahead.

Based on the acclaimed manga by Yuki Ikeda, serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine, "Thunder 3" drew immediate attention for its distinctive storytelling and striking artwork, earning a nomination for the Next Manga Award 2022.

The newly released trailer introduces us to protagonist Pyontaro, an ordinary middle schooler constantly kept on his toes by his energetic younger sister, Futaba. When Futaba suddenly vanishes, Pyontaro and his best friends Tsubame and Hiroshi, known as the Small 3, set out to find her, launching a search that immediately kicks off a profound adventure.

Thunder 3 is a story centered on the unbreakable bond between three childhood friends as they embark on a desperate search for a missing girl. The series follows Pyontaro, an ordinary middle schooler, and his two best friends, Tsubame and Hiroshi-a trio known as the Small 3.
