Qobuz And Warp Records Join Forces To Spotlight The Iconic Label’s Catalog

Paris, November 3rd, 2026 - Qobuz , the independent French music streaming and download platform, today announced an international partnership with iconic record label Warp Records. This global collaboration aims to highlight the history and exceptional musical legacy of the independent label founded in 1989.

Over the coming months, Warp Records' catalog will be spotlighted across the Qobuz app, magazine, download store, and marketing channels. The program features regular playlist releases curated by both Qobuz experts and Warp's artists and team, including a dedicated playlist section. On the magazine side, in-depth articles about the label and its roster of artists will be featured, such as The Warp Story below ( https://www.qobuz.com/gb-en/magazine/story/2019/12/20/warp-30-years-of-groundbreaking-music/ ).

The download store will run promotional offers with reduced prices on a selection of albums, allowing fans to collect classics like Music Has The Right To Children or Selected Ambient Works Volume II. Artist videos paying tribute to the label will be rolled out progressively, starting with a favorite pick from Nightmares On Wax on Instagram .

This initiative will allow listeners to (re)discover major figures in the electronic and alternative scenes, such as Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Autechre, LFO, Squarepusher, Oneohtrix Point Never, Mount Kimbie, and many other artists who have contributed to the label's avant-garde and innovative spirit.

This partnership continues a line of prestigious collaborations initiated by Qobuz in recent years with other iconic labels like Blue Note, Deutsche Grammophon, and ECM Records. The French platform is further strengthening its leading position in high-quality original music content while reaffirming its commitment to artistic creation and the people who bring it to life.

"Since 1989, Warp has been one of the most respected independent labels in the UK. By supporting some of the most uncompromising artists in electronic music, such as Aphex Twin, LFO, Boards Of Canada, Autechre, and Squarepusher, it has, above all, championed strong artistic and creative values that remain fully intact in 2026. These values are shared by Qobuz, both in its editorial choices and in its support for groundbreaking creative work. It makes complete sense for this to culminate in a partnership between the label and our platform!" said Marc Zisman, Chief Music Officer at Qobuz.

For nearly 40 years, Warp Records has been a synonym for adventures in sound and vision, consistently furthering its position as one of the most creative independent record labels in the world. With a rich legacy and consistently groundbreaking vision of the future, Warp and its artists traverse mediums to explore new spaces.

"Connecting deep-listening audiences with uncompromising, visionary music is at the heart of what we do at Warp, making Qobuz a natural home for our artists' music. This partnership showcases our shared commitment to supporting independent artists and bringing their work to dedicated music lovers globally." said Steven Hill, Head of North America, Warp Records.
