GE Aerospace to Spotlight Future of Flight at Farnborough International Airshow 2026

Company to Bring Aircraft to Show for First Time in Nearly 40 Years

FARNBOROUGH, England - July 16, 2026 - GE Aerospace (NYSE: GE) will showcase its commitment to building a more durable and efficient future of flight at the 2026 Farnborough International Airshow, highlighting next-generation technologies and breakthrough capabilities across commercial and defense aviation.

Displays and Experiences

  • Flying Test Bed: GE Aerospace's Flying Test Bed, which features a new livery design, will be on static display behind the company's chalet. The aircraft, a Boeing 747-400, enables the company's efforts to test and validate the safety and reliability of engine technologies.
  • Electrified Powertrain Flight Demonstration Aircraft: GE Aerospace's modified aircraft, a Saab 340B, is scheduled to fly daily, with times to be confirmed.
  • Chalet Experience: For customers and invited guests, the GE Aerospace chalet is designed to create a highly engaging experience, featuring an observation deck with direct views of the company's static and flight displays, including the 747 Flying Test Bed and Saab 340B. Guests also will experience interactive exhibits such as the RISE Open Fan model, hybrid electric technology, AI-enabled inspection tools, and case studies focused on durability, efficiency, and future of flight technologies.

CFM Press Briefing
CFM International, a 50-50 joint company between GE Aerospace and Safran Aircraft Engines, will host its annual press briefing to provide updates on the LEAP engine as it approaches 10 years of service, as well as progress on the CFM RISE program, which is targeting more than 20% better fuel efficiency and improved durability compared to today's engines.
