Author John Rinaldi to Host Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Book Signing at the Grand Opening at 10AM on Wednesday, September 30^th, 2026

Woodmere, OH - September 23^rd, 2026 - Barnes & Noble is proud to announce the grand reopening of its transformed Eton Chagrin Boulevard bookstore in Woodmere, OH. The completely remodeled Woodmere bookstore (Eton Chagrin Boulevard, 28801 Chagrin Boulevard, Woodmere, OH 44122) will officially reopen to the public at 10AM on Wednesday, September 30^th.

The total renovation of the Woodmere store is part of Barnes & Noble's continued revitalization and expansion across Ohio. Over the past four years, the company has opened seven stores across the state, most recently in Strongsville and Aurora. Further, the bookseller has acquired this month Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Cincinnati and is committed to further investment in Ohio.

The Woodmere Barnes & Noble opened 23 years ago in October 2003 and has long been a fixture on the busy boulevard at Eton Chagrin Boulevard. Now renovated head-to-toe, the 20,000-square-foot store showcases Barnes & Noble's new design and format. The store has an expanded Barnes & Noble Café, alongside the extensive selection of books, toys, games, magazines and gifts expected of the bookstore.

Woodmere Barnes & Noble bookstore will officially reopen to the public at 10AM Eastern on Wednesday the 30^th, with local author John Rinaldi cutting the ribbon and signing copies of his acclaimed book, Lil' John: Laughing My Way Through Life: Stories from an Accidental Career on Cleveland TV-and More!. Pete the Cat will also join the festivities and host special storytime events over the weekend.

Barnes & Noble Premium and Rewards Members will earn double stamps on all purchases made between September 30^th and October 4^th. Customers who are not yet Members are encouraged to sign up and start earning stamps and rewards right away.

Everyone who visits the new Woodmere Barnes & Noble during the grand opening will have access to exclusive deals, like $50 off any NOOK device. Customers can also save 40% on all DVD, Blu-ray, and 4k Ultra HD movies.
