Meeting with the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye

On January 28, 2026, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Turkiye Mr. Sodiq Imomi met with the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye Mr. Numan Kurtulmush.

At the meeting, both parties expressed their satisfaction with the current state of inter-parliamentary relations between Tajikistan and Turkiye, emphasizing the necessity of expanding multifaceted ties, particularly in the fields of education, science, culture, and tourism while highlighting the importance of convening regular sessions of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission and intensifying the activities of sectoral working groups to further bolster bilateral cooperation.
