Community members are invited to join the annual Memorial Day Program on Monday, May 25, as the Johnson County Military Affairs Association and American Legion Post 17 honor the brave service members who gave their lives in defense of our nation.

The City's three splash pads will open on Memorial Day weekend. These free, touch activated water features will operate daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Iowa City Police and Fire Departments are offering free emergency awareness decals to help first responders quickly identify important medical or communication needs during an emergency.
