October 3, 2025 -Midland Parks and Recreation is frightfully excited to terrify audiences in a spooky pre-Halloween celebration on Saturday, October 18.
Monster lovers are invited to a free carpool screening of the 1984 classic Gremlins on Saturday, October 18 at Stratford Woods Park. The movie will begin at 7:30 p.m. For cancellation information, viewers can call the Parks and Recreation Rainout Line at 989-399-0506.
Viewers will have two choices for watching the movie: stay in their cars and listen via FM car stereo or bring blankets and chairs and sit in the parking lot. Proper Taco and What About Waffles will be on hand to serve delicious food for all. This event is open to all ages; however, viewer discretion is advised as it may be too scary for young children.
