Chargé d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in The Bahamas Zhang Hongliang Meets with Presidents of International Dragon Boat Federation and Bahamas Dragon Boat Federation
On 18 September 2025, Chargé d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in The Bahamas Zhang Hongliang met with Mr. Claudio Schermi, President of International Dragon Boat Federation, Ms Meri Gibson, Global President of the International Breast Cancer Paddlers Commission, Ms. Van Kei Lok-Tong, President of Bahamas Dragon Boat Federation, Mr. John Gomez and Mr. John Bostwick, Vice President and Vice Chairman of Bahamas Dragon Boat Federation. The two sides exchanged views on further promoting the Chinese traditional sports dragon boat race in The Bahamas and deepening China-Bahamas sports and cultural exchanges.
